“寅縞 平成21年”
一年に一回、次の年の干支の手ぬぐいを考える。
平成22年は“寅”の漢字を使って模様化してみた。
視覚的にもリズム感が出るように意識した。
そして、寅の縞模様にちなんで、黒と白で縞柄に仕上げた。

Stripes of the Year of the Tiger (2009, by Katsuji Wakisaka)
Once a year, I create a tenugui design featuring the zodiac sign for the coming year.
For Heisei 22 (2010), I transformed the kanji character “寅” (tiger) into a pattern.
I paid particular attention to creating a sense of visual rhythm within the design.
Inspired by the stripes of a tiger, I completed the design with alternating black and white stripes.

Rayures de tigre (2009, par Katsuji Wakisaka)
Une fois par an, j'imagine le design de nos tenugui aux couleurs du signe du zodiaque de l'année à venir.
Pour l'année 2010, j'ai tenté de créer un motif à partir du caractère chinois « 寅 » (Tigre).
J'ai veillé à lui donner un rythme visuel.
Puis, en rappel aux rayures du tigre, j'ai réalisé un motif à rayures noires et blanches.

寅紋 (2009, 脇阪 克二)
我會每年一次，構思明年的生肖手帕的設計。
2010年虎年，我嘗試把「寅」這個漢字轉化為圖案。
在設計時，特別注重營造視覺上的節奏感。
呼應老虎的條紋特徵，最終以黑白雙色呈現條紋圖案。
